Who Is Barry Stephen Nieuport?

I am a fan of science fiction, would be a light way of saying it. I will enjoy and watch even the black and white version of movies that have visible strings attached to the spaceship. I also have a very vivid imagination and have several stories in mind. I have a civil war story, a western, sequels to my science fiction story and others. It is rather easy for me to write, not so easy to speak. I am very timid by nature. I enjoy adventure and action stories also.

I grew up in Vermont and still love the open fresh air. I am a computer programmer, though currently driving a school bus, and yes, I do like children, though quieter would be nice. I have a good sense of humor, my fellow drivers and my passengers enjoy a good laugh frequently. I enjoy writing at all times, and have written a great deal of times in the past. I also write computer programs, though not nearly as much fun as writing a story. I get involved in the story, many are based upon dreams I have had. I am capable of managing these dreams for the most part, using them to develop stories that I go over in my mind. I would enjoy writing these down on paper, or rather, on computer screen.

Synopsis of the book:

The story opens with a young man, Zuros, on a search for his lost brother. This search is interrupted by a message from his parents. His parents are dying, unexpectedly, as this race of humanoids lives for several hundred years. They are only around 90 years old. The young man, at age 20, learns he has an ancestry that he was not told about. This ancestry places a great burden upon him, as he was not taught the ways of his ancestors. Now Zuros will have to learn them on his own. This ancestry leads him to be the ruler of a vast empire, consisting of many different races, all of them brought together by his great, great, great-grandfather. It is only he that will be able to hold them together. His parents, through an accident just prior to his birth, were deformed by an ancient alien mechanism and were exiled from their planet. A great deal of turmoil developed on his native planet after his parents left. This made it vulnerable to invasion from their enemies. Zuros also learns that he has many abilities as the direct descendant of an ancient race of warriors. He must discover these abilities on his own and master them in order to save not just his home world, but many others. He first must place the defense of his home world as the highest priority. He also must not sacrifice other worlds in the process. He will have to fight foes that once were mortal enemies of his people and feared by all. He will have to fight what were once his own people and his friends. He will have to learn to make new friends and seize opportunities he never dared to even dream of. He will have to travel to distant lands to fight a new enemy. This new enemy has just gathered strength and is threatening his world and other once peaceful, beautiful worlds. He must search for and utilize new technologies and ancient ones that were thought to be lost. Zuros will learn many new things and discover the secret of his own people that even he did not at first believe. Zuros will also discover new secrets of his world itself and will discover ancient secrets revealed only to him.
